Frequently Asked Questions

  • Next Step Wound Care Providers develop individualized wound care plans based on the patient’s needs. We offer many traditional forms of wound care, as well as cutting-edge wound care technologies, to help heal chronic, non-healing wounds. Much of our care is performed at bedside in the comfort of the patient’s home.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or give us a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • Aside from our access to cutting-edge technologies, our providers perform all wound care procedures in your home—no more waiting rooms, wound care center visits, or arranging transportation. We bring the care to you!

  • Feel free to reach us anytime via our contact page, email, phone, or fax. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day. All communications received outside of business hours are answered the following business day.

  • Our tailored wound care plans are billed directly to your insurance. We do not charge qualified patients for wound care procedures. Some insurance plans have deductibles for prescriptions, which fall outside of our control, but we will work with you to find solutions that are covered under your insurance plan to keep your costs minimal.

  • You can cancel an appointment by calling our office at least 1 business day before your appointment. Patients who fail to cancel before the day of their appointment may be subject to fees as stated in our Expectations of Service.
